At The PS Matthew Wong Legacy Trust, our mission is to improve lives by:
– Providing scholarships to talented individuals who face financial obstacles, enabling them to pursue higher education and reach their full potential.
– Supporting medical research, with a particular focus on innovative and preventive initiatives such as pre-birth DNA testing and gene therapy.
We envision a future where everyone, regardless of background, has a fair chance to learn, grow, and contribute meaningfully to society. We also hope that beneficiaries of the trust will, in time, become changemakers themselves — extending support to others and continuing the cycle of giving.

The PS Matthew Wong Legacy Trust was established to honour the enduring spirit, compassion, and quiet strength that defined Matthew’s life. Founded in his memory, the trust aims to make a meaningful and lasting contribution to Australian communities by supporting individuals facing financial hardship or medical challenges.
Our journey is grounded in love and a sincere commitment to help others. We aim to address inequalities in the ability to access education and medical innovation, especially in areas that are often underfunded or overlooked.
The PS Matthew Wong Legacy Trust is a registered Australian charity governed by its trust deed and guided by principles of integrity, transparency, and compassion.
Founder’s Message
I never imagined I would one day establish a charitable trust. God blessed me with my beloved son, Matthew, whose life was tragically cut short in a car accident at just 23 years old. He had so much more to give, and it is his unfinished purpose that lives on through this trust.
The PS Matthew Wong Legacy Trust is a way for me — and hopefully others — to continue his spirit of generosity, kindness, and service. While this journey has not been easy, it is my hope that through small, humble steps, we can together make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
